MyJernih is a community-driven initiative led by MBA students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of vulnerable communities by providing access to safe and clean drinking water.
The project began when our team discovered that many orphanages and elderly homes across Malaysia still struggle with unsafe water due to aging pipes, inconsistent maintenance, or limited funding. We saw a clear gap and an opportunity to create meaningful, lasting change.
We prioritise the wellbeing of vulnerable communities by ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water for those who need it most.
We operate with transparency, honesty, and accountability in every part of our project — from centre verification to sponsor reporting.
We work closely with vendors, NGOs, care homes, and sponsors to create sustainable and meaningful impact together.
We equip centres with knowledge and basic maintenance skills, enabling them to manage water safety confidently and independently.
We deliver long-term water filtration solutions that ensure ongoing access to clean water and reduce future health risks.
We adopt practical, effective, and scalable solutions to improve water access and expand our impact across Malaysia.
